I am 47 years old and have been coming to St.-Truiden for five years now. It all began when my marriage finished in 2002. I was talking to a friend form Belgium on the internet and we chatted for a while, then Mama Massoels from Veulen/Heers invited me and my sons across for a holiday to forget my problems in Scotland. We came across and were taken aback by the friendly people and beautiful scenery of wonderful Limburg. It reminds me so much of Scotland (but your beer is better, Ik hou van Jupiler).
When I am not visiting St.-Truiden I am a Chef/Cook at the University of St Andrews. I have been cooking all my life since I left school. I am divorced and have three sons,
Martin 23, Kevin 21, and Thomas 18. I now have a wonderful partner who has no problem with my hobby as a Schotse Kanarie. Sandra has also been to St. Truiden several times and loves it here as well.
I am a season ticket holder with Dundee United (not Dundee FC). And can relate to St.-Truiden as our clubs are similar in size. I look forward to coming back soon. And would like to give a great big thank you to all the people who have joined our fan club and welcomed us into the St.-Truiden family.
Even the St.-Truiden Chairman is a member... |
